The problem with Slack is that it's hard to follow the context.

I've been using Slack for years, but I've always thought that it should be used only for announcements and small talk. When it comes to managing timeline issues, the information is easily scattered and it's frankly annoying. Use a bug tracker instead.

Slack is more of a timeline-based platform, so (despite having threads) forums may still have the advantage of being able to discuss topics in parallel on a timeline. There are means for continuous improvement such as Issue analysis (internal only) and forums (participatory). https://t.co/vUxiN1ErKC

For people like us who never go 15 minutes without checking Slack, a timeline-based Slack is great, but for those who don't, it would be nice to have a communication tool with a different interface that sorts by priority. Is there anything like that?

The problem is how to use Slack.
The philosophy of Scrapbox is that meaning is context-dependent, so I recommend it instead.

The timeline version of this is where information goes to die.
